A day in the life for Chloe @ PP HQ

Hi!!

Thought it may be a little interesting to tell you about what my day looks like when I travel up to PP HQ for a days work! Little old me lives all the way in South Wales, so I leave my house around 6:00-6:15 am, fill my car up with fuel and start the journey to PP HQ, plenty of breaks on the way for coffee and lots of toilet breaks!

When I get to PP HQ, the first thing I do is head to the toilet (shock, nothing new there) and put my lunch bag straight into the kitchen and SOMETIMES, I mean sometimes - if Charlotte is lucky I'll put on the kettle and make us a good old strong cuppa! 

Then.. I figure out whether Charlotte is hiding somewhere ready to scare me, that is honestly what it is like when we work together at the office - one of us has always got a trick up our sleeve to get the other one, it's fun but you always feel like you're on edge!!

First thing we kinda do is sit down and write down a plan of what we want to get done whilst I am up at PP HQ, this normally consists of lists and lists of photo content we need to take,  reel ideas, new products we need to finalise/run through, meetings we need to set up, the list honestly goes on and on. But we find writing a list at the start of the day, when we get one of the tasks complete we can tick it off and know it's done and dusted. If we don't get the whole list done in the day we will save the list for next week and add the jobs onto it then, there's simply not enough hours in the day to get everything done - but that's fine, as long as we have a laugh throughout getting through them that's all that matters!

Once we've written our list, by this time it's normally 11ish and it's time for me to raid the mini fridge which is FULL of Pepsi max always, perks of the job!! Crack one of those open and I am ready to become director - I am ready to boss Charl around when it comes to filming reels and stories - it is so much fun. Sometimes I really do think she wonders why an earth she employed me because some of the stuff I made her do she would love to have her say & say no ;) but no is not in my vocabulary when it comes to Instagram reels. The sillier, the better right?!

Once we've got some content created and we feel satisfied we tend to sit down and have a cuppa and look over the stuff we have created, we also use this time to catch up on emails, DMs, engage with you all on Instagram and to check our phones! Then we pack for a solid 2 hours to make sure the orders that have been coming in are getting to you ASAP. Once we've done this we will then stop for some lunch, if the weather is nice we sit outside but me being such a cold person, I am alwayssss freezing and when Charlotte is dressed all gorgeously in pretty summer dresses you'll find me in a coat inside, always... anyone else just a really cold person? My hands are always numb!!

Once we've done lunch, we kinda repeat the same process as the morning, we sometimes get random deliveries that we weren't expecting so sometimes that can throw a spanner in the works, and stop us in our tracks but we will deal with that, probably do an excited dance and most likely share with you what's arrived and then we get back to business!

Every week is different, things don't always go to plan from our to do list we write first thing but we just try to utilise the time with me being in HQ as productively as possible and majority of the day we just have eachohter in fits of laughter, but like I said before that is what it's all about! We are always thinking and talking about ideas we've both had, and we always get over excited and there's always something new we are planning!

So yeah, that's kinda a summary of what happens - but it's a super fun job to have, it doesn't feel like I am at work, I feel like I can be myself and be so silly always, but of course keeping things professional ;) I really don't know how Charlotte deals with me to be honest, she needs a medal... and she also needs paracetamol for her headaches that she gets when I am around ;) haha!! 

I feel very lucky to have this job, it is so much fun & I know lots of you envy me in having this job and I don't blame you, it's fab. But, hands off ;) only joking! If Charlotte could she would have everyone working for her, it would be carnage can you imagine!
